About Us

Ivan’s Island started with a dream. Ivan built 3 tiny houses with the help of his partner, Julia, and other friends and family. Ivan and Julia daydreamed of a the perfect spot to land their tiny homes on a lake where they could dive into the water and friends and family could gather. They sold one of the tiny houses and began their search. When they walked the property that is now Ivan’s Island, they knew this was the place!

Since the moment they purchased the land in 2022, they have worked hard to build what you see today and the work hasn’t stopped to this day. They made sure to work with nature and place structures in existing openings to preserve tree, land and wildlife. And now you can explore and stay at Ivan’s Island, a unique lake getaway nestled on a stunning 5-acre peninsula on Sokokis Lake in Maine. No matter your choice of Tiny house, Glamping or Camping, you can wake up to lake views, spend your days kayaking, swimming or fishing or simply unwind by your private fire pit under the stars. With deep and shallow water access all around, you’ll feel immersed in nature and still close to the local ice cream and donut shops.
