About Us
Ivan’s Island started with a dream. Ivan built 3 tiny houses with the help of his partner, Julia, and other friends and family. Ivan and Julia daydreamed of a the perfect spot to land their tiny homes on a lake where they could dive into the water and friends and family could gather. They sold one of the tiny houses and began their search. When they walked the property that is now Ivan’s Island, they knew this was the place!
Since the moment they purchased the land in 2022, they have worked hard to build what you see today and the work hasn’t stopped to this day. They made sure to work with nature and place structures in existing openings to preserve tree, land and wildlife. And now you can explore and stay at Ivan’s Island, a unique lake getaway nestled on a stunning 5-acre peninsula on Sokokis Lake in Maine. No matter your choice of Tiny house, Glamping or Camping, you can wake up to lake views, spend your days kayaking, swimming or fishing or simply unwind by your private fire pit under the stars. With deep and shallow water access all around, you’ll feel immersed in nature and still close to the local ice cream and donut shops.
Captain’s Quaters or The Fishbowl
,Stay at one of our custom hand crafted tiny homes, Captain’s Quaters or The Fishbowl. Each has its own spot on the shoreline with a private deck, fire pit and gas grill.
Glamping and Camping
Stay at the fully furnished Glamping Tent with electricity or a bring your tent site with picnic table, chiminea and gas grill. All come with use of the bathhouse and covered Kitchen area.
Water Sports
Canoes, Kayaks and Paddle Boards with life vests and paddles are provided
Queen Bed
Each tiny house comes furnished with a Queen sized memory foam mattress
Television
The Fishbowl is equpped with a wall mounted TV with streaming.
Air Conditioning
Both tiny houses are airconditioned.
Bathroom
Each tiny house has its own bathroom with shower. The bathhouse has a vanity sink, private shower and private toilet.
Fire Pit
Each tiny house, glamping spot and tent spot has its own private fire pit/chiminea.
Wifi
Free wi-fi throughout the property.
Lake
Thousands of feet of shoreline. Shared dock, swim raft and foam float.

“Our stay at this Cabin was fantastic! We loved swimming kayaking, and paddle boarding in the lake. This place is also about 45 minutes away from Portland Maine. Julia was great host, very friendly and responsive. To anyone who is looking for a 10/10 experience, you gotta book this place!”
